This is a private reference site, not a Calhoun County or Michigan government office. We cannot confirm custody, pull an official booking record, release anyone, post bond, or change a jail record. Contact the government office responsible for the information.
Official Offices and Record Sources
Choose the office based on the question. The Corrections Center operates at all hours, but that does not mean the records counter or county FOIA coordinator is staffed around the clock.

Use the following routes for common record and custody needs:
- For a county booking record or mugshot, begin with the county search and records instructions, then use Sheriff Records or the county FOIA process.
- For current custody or release status at the Calhoun County Correctional Facility, use the county roster and call the 24-hour Corrections Center line when needed.
- For an arrest report created by Battle Creek, Albion, or Marshall police, contact that city department. A city report and a county jail photo have different custodians.
- For a warrant or the safe process to resolve one, use the official courts and the Wanted Fugitives information. The sheriff cannot replace court advice.
- For a final misdemeanor or felony result, contact the Calhoun District or Circuit Court clerk. A booking charge is not a disposition.
- For a sentenced state prisoner or someone recently discharged within OTIS scope, search the Michigan Department of Corrections Offender Tracking Information System.
- For federal prison or immigration detention, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator. County staff do not control those records.
Emergency matters belong on 911. Written records requests should identify the person, approximate date, agency, and exact record sought. Calhoun County states that a records response can take up to five business days, and charges may apply for photographs, video, or extensive reproduction.
